XBURO supported Metro North Health (MNH) for the delivery of their new LA2 & LA4 Linear Accelerators at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).

We provided superintendent services for the replacement of two existing end of life Linear Accelerators (LINACs). The design was developed to meet the MNH Design Guidelines for all new infrastructure projects to start to deliver the efficiency and emission reductions required to achieve both MNH and the QLD government mandated targets on the road to net zero by 2050.

The new LINACs are now fully operational and providing critical targeted radiotherapy services.
