XBURO were involved in providing Advisory Studies, Building Services, and Designs for the heritage listed Old QLD Museum building.

This included complete MEP services concept designs consisting of kitchens, restaurants, a theatre, exhibition halls that could be presented to government for potential funding.

One significant design consideration was the possibility of concealing the necessary building services within the existing heritage building fabric.

To assist, XBURO were able to quickly calculate the building requirements and specify large plant at the concept design stage to enable succinct engagement with the heritage consultant very early on in the project.
