Jay Dee is committed to improving human health and wellness within the built environment using her professional training as an interior designer alongside her experiences with community
engagement and knowledge of best practice in industry through building standards such as WELL, Greenstar, the Living Building Challenge and holistic tools such as LENSES and the principles of Biophilia.
Having worked in the design industry across both Brisbane and Melbourne, extensive travel overseas and completion of her Masters, Jay Dee has gained broad practical experience alongside
her theoretical training.
Her design experience has seen her work across the full spectrum of design practice, handling projects ranging from tilt-up industrial warehouses, inner-city office fit-outs, luxury homes, urban streetscape renewal, resorts, mulit-residential
developments, public facilities, urban art and even a church.
Jay Dee believes that it is precisely this far-ranging experience along with her background in community engagement through the arts that uniquely equips her to handle the varied challenges that arise during the accreditation processes for both WELL and Greenstar. .
